Rough Concept Art

Here is the rough concept art that I had done.

Ok for the first concept art that is the set extension, what I am trying to achieve is too seamlessly extend the row of racks so that I can give an illusion of how big and spacious the supermarket is.
Also another issue is that getting a location that is big enough is a problem so I have to resort to do the set extension.

For the veins popping out is just a subtle effect that I had longing to try. Basically it is to further exaggerate the anger of the actor so that the audience could feel his energy draining out to move the box.

Rough Animatix

Here is the first draft of my animatix.

Chosen Concepts

Ok. I had a few concepts out but we narrowed down on just this one as Tad had advised me on it. Anyway I am also happy with this concept.

So the idea is there is this guy with some "telekinetic" powers walking in a supermarket and he start using his power to pick up his groceries. Suddenly he could not move this can of Milo powder (or some other product). Then we zoom in to the product and this tag line appear "With free 250g, its heavier than you thought." So basically its like a tvc for the product.

VFX Progress

This blog is created solely to show the progress of my VFX project.
I am really excited to have Ted Leckman (TD of Lucas Jedi Masters Programme) to be teaching us. Hopefully this will be a fun and great project.
